The Molecular Biosciences Research Cluster (MBRC), Department of Biotechnology, MRIIRS, secured a prestigious research consultancy project through MRIIF, valued at ₹1,30,000, from Mohor Superfoods. The project, titled "Optimizing Carbon Reduction with Cyanobacteria: Prototyping and Testing," focuses on leveraging cyanobacteria for effective carbon capture. As part of this initiative, students will develop a prototype for carbon capture, which, after rigorous testing and standardization, will form the basis for a market-ready product. This collaboration highlights MBRC’s dedication to fostering student-driven innovation and creating sustainable biotechnological solutions for environmental challenges, contributing to global efforts in combating climate change.
