Bhargavi Devapatla from AIML 4A, Manav Rachna University, along with Manas Jha,Manikanta Kancharla and Sankit Singhal , Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies participated in Hackathon- Code Sangam that was held from 27th - 29th Feb 2024 at SGT University. It was a 36 hours hackathon having three rounds. The team bagged the first position and won a prize of Rs 15,000.

Ms. Bhargavi Devapatla from Manav Rachna University secured 3rd prize in the prestigious Altair Data Science Contest, held as part of E-Summit'25 by the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. She achieved this remarkable feat under the guidance of Dr. Mamta Arora, showcasing her exceptional skills in data science and analytics.

Bhargavi & Manikanta Kancharla presented our innovative idea at the SOLVE-A-THONevent and we made it to the Top 6 teams! The event was an incredible experience that challenged our creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. From brainstorming to presenting our solution, every moment was a learning opportunity and a step forward in our journey of innovation.

Narapureddy Durga Prasad Reddy, Manikanta Kancharla, Dogga Pavan Sekhar, and Kodati Sai Teja. The collaboration, brainstorming, and execution were nothing short of amazing and participated in Hackaccino 2024 held at Bennett University! It was an incredible journey where we developed an innovative chatbot for health management, utilizing the power of Machine Learning. Our project aimed to provide tailored health insights, focusing on making wellness management simpler and more accessible for everyone. Tackling these challenges was both inspiring and rewarding, pushing us to think outside the box.

Bhargavi participated in the Health Tech Innovations Fest at Manav Rachna University, where I showcased my research on TinyLife: Fetal Segmentation. My poster highlighted an advanced deep learning approach for detecting fetal brain tumors and estimating their size, enabling early diagnosis and timely medical intervention. This project leverages CNN-based architectures like U-Net and SegNet to enhance prenatal healthcare by providing accurate segmentation and analysis of fetal brain abnormalities. Early detection is crucial in improving neonatal outcomes, and I am thrilled to contribute to this field with cutting-edge AI techniques!

The Team Bring Hope - Rishav , Harsh and Avdhesh of AIML 6th sem emerged victorious in Sociothon at the National Social Summit'24, hosted by the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee on 10th- 11th Feb, 2024. The team secured 3rd position among approximately 500 participations from various colleges nationwide, under the guidance of Dr Parneeta , Dr Yogita , Mr Vijay Gill and Dr J. P. Sharma for his support.

Charu Goyal and Drishti Kemni under the guidance of Dr. Mrinal Pandey, received the best paper award for the paper entitled “An Evaluation of Machine Learning Techniques for Personality Classification using the Myers- Briggs Assessment” presented paper in 7th International Conference On Innovative Computing And Communication (ICICC24), 16th -17th Feb 2024.

Team Shinchan, consisting of Harsh Bhardwaj (2nd Year CSE4A) (Team Leader), Swayam Arora (2nd Year CSE4A), Chhaya Sharma (1st Year CSE2C) and Khushboo Mehta (1st Year CSE2C) clinched the 3rd prize at the MRSDC MRI, a 12 Hours Hackathon - HackItUp 1.0, held from 9th-11th Feb 2024.

Narapureddy Durga Prasad Reddy volunteered for Faridabad Wheelchair Cricket Tournament Premier League 2.0, presented by NCR Infotainment Association, held on March 14 to 16 at Vijay Yadav Academy. The event was supported by the esteemed organizations, Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation and Radio Manav Rachna.

Jayram achieved first position in Volleyball at the 1st MREI Hostel Sports Tournament.

Kanan (MRU2104049) and Poonam (MRU2104056),Students of CST participated in Becon 2024, hosted by the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. It featured two key competitions: Inkshpire and Research Quest. In Inksphire, Poonam Biswas, demonstrated her artistic prowess through doodle making, which was judged on the parameters of creativity and relevance to the theme. Research Quest, on the other hand, provided a platform for innovative pitches, where Kanan and Poonam (MRU2104049 and MRU2104056, respectively) collaborated to present "Automated Plant Disease Detection using Artificial Intelligence," focusing on timely disease management for farmers. These events underscored IIT Delhi's dedication to fostering creativity and innovation, encouraging participation, and fostering collaboration among students and attendees.

Poonam Biswas, Kanan Arora, and Mansi Gusian,emerged victorious in the cricket match during the 10th MREI Girls Sports Meet on 8th of Feb., 2024.

Shivani sharma secured 1st place at the prestigious Health Innovation Fest, competing against 40+ exceptional teams! This achievement is more than just a milestone—it’s a testament to the transformative potential of innovation in healthcare. Our project, Indoor Navigation for Visually Impaired Using Real-Time Object Detection, aimed to empower visually impaired individuals by leveraging technology for safer and more accessible navigation.
