HACKMoR 2026 at Manav Rachna University was a one-of-its-kind 36-hour national-level hackathon where caffeine met code and ideas were stress-tested in real time. Designed to drive scalable and socially relevant tech solutions, the platform brought together young innovators across India to build, break, debug, and deploy under pressure.
The scale of disruption spoke for itself. Over 100 teams competed in high-intensity build mode, bringing together 500+ student innovators who engineered and demonstrated 70+ live projects. The solutions were rigorously evaluated by 17 judges assessing innovation, feasibility, and real-world impact, while faculty mentors continuously refined logic, system architecture, and execution pathways. The entire hackathon engine was powered by an 8-member core student organizing team and 45+ dedicated volunteers ensuring seamless operations across 36 hours.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Chief Guest, Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman NETF, EC-NAAC, NBA and Former Chairman AICTE, who reinforced the importance of educational practices that cultivate observation, experimentation, and the willingness to learn through failure. The Hon’ble Guest of Honor Ms. Febin M F, Head – L&T Edutech Business, Larsen & Toubro, addressed the gathering from an industry-oriented perspective and motivated the teams to find solutions for the real world problems.
The winning grid stood out for precision engineering, clarity of problem definition, and execution excellence. The 1st Position was secured by Mind Ease from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, followed by Smart Sanskriti from VIPS-TC as the 1st Runner-Up, and Focus_4 from Manav Rachna University as the 2nd Runner-Up.

The focused technical track sessions featured high-quality research presentations, innovative models, and practical solutions addressing real-world challenges-reflecting a strong commitment to research-led impact and sustainable technological transformation.

ICASS 2026 was insightful and packed with innovation, the tone was set right at the Pre-Conference itself where the quantum switch was flipped.
The Pre-Conference Workshop on Quantum Computing, organised in collaboration with C-DAC, pushed participants straight into hardcore quantum territory. From qubits and superposition to circuit models and algorithmic logic, the sessions decoded the mechanics behind next-gen computational architectures.
C-DAC experts broke down complex quantum frameworks into engineer-ready concepts, bridging theory with implementation pathways. It was a workshop that was a deep dive into the quantum stack, where classical limits were challenged and computational paradigms were re-engineered.
By carving space in the quantum realm, ICASS 2026 didn’t just talk about the future of intelligent systems; it started compiling it.

Manav Rachna University took a significant step in this direction by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM); a unit of the Government of Haryana in the august presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
This collaboration is a shared commitment to bridge academic inquiry with real-world governance. Through joint research initiatives, fiscal management studies, SDG-aligned projects, and policy-focused capacity building, the partnership opens meaningful pathways for students and faculty to contribute directly to public policy, administration, and nation-building. The same day also marked the launch of NEEV, a visionary portal introduced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister to strengthen the implementation of NEP 2020 through continuous evaluation and data-driven monitoring; reaffirming the role of evidence-based decision-making in shaping the future of education.

Manav Rachna University continues to reinforce its commitment to quality and excellence through the Institutional Framework for Quality Enhancement (IFQE), a transformative initiative envisioned by our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Deependra Kumar Jha. The framework has been thoughtfully developed by the Office of Quality Assurance & Accreditation (QAA).
The IFQE audit was successfully conducted for the School of Engineering (SOE) and the School of Law (SOL) on 02 December 2025 and 03 December 2025, respectively. Led by External Expert Dr. Kamal Bansal, Academic Advisor to Higher Educational Institutions, the audits benefitted immensely from his insightful analysis and comprehensive review. Dean SOE and Dean SOL presented sharp, data-driven executive summaries capturing their schools’ achievements, strategic priorities, and pathways for continuous enhancement.
Faculty members demonstrated commendable preparedness, presenting well-curated evidence of academic quality, research progression, innovations, and student-centric initiatives. The successful completion of these audits marks a significant stride in strengthening academic rigor, operational transparency, and MRU’s journey toward a future-ready learning ecosystem.
Key learnings from the audit reaffirm our commitment to continuous improvement; strengthening evidence-based practices, reinforcing process accountability, and deepening interdepartmental collaboration as we progress into the next phase of quality enhancement.
