CST department conducted an interactive discussion at Manav Rachna University to raise awareness about placements on 15th April 2022. The session's speaker was Lakshya Mittal, a B.Tech student from 2018-2022 batch.
He was working as an Associate Engineer with CommVault Systems. He briefed the students about the company's placement criteria and ways to acquire high-paying job offers. Further discussion points were related to internships opportunities for students, working on effective solutions to projects, topics to study for interviews, dealing with placement pressure. The speaker shared his placement journey with all the students and the pitfalls that should be avoided. Such events help the students in increasing their knowledge and confidence also obtaining promising employment offers.
The Department of CST in association with ARDENT COMPUTECH PVT. LTD. organised an online “Campus Recruitment Training Program” as part of AIRP (Ardent Industry Readiness Program). The objective of this training Program was to provide structured guidance to excel in Campus Recruitment of IT companies.
The program covers the pattern of many companies with extra focus on the top recruiters. It was a 15 days program where 200 students participated with full enthusiasm. The training was followed by an assessment module.
Department of Computer Science & Technology, MRU organised training, for the students selected in the first round of Amazon, between Feb 15 to Feb 18 2022 and then March 22 to March 24 2022 wherein the selected students were apprised of various aspects of algorithms and programming. The following topics were covered in the training: Complexity, Stacks and Queues, BST, Graphs, Dynamic Programming, AVL, Hashing, BST
A session by “Mr. Ramneek Kalra” was conducted for the students selected for the second round of Amazon. Mr. Kalra, being a part of Amazon, was able to apprise the students of the interview process and how to prepare for the same. The students participated enthusiastically and interacted with the resource person to clear their doubts.

The guest speaker, an alumnus from the 2020 batch (CSE – AIML), currently working as a Field AI Engineer at Fiddler AI and Founder of SpillMate, shared his journey from student life to becoming an industry professional and entrepreneur. He explained how SpillMate was conceptualized during his third semester in an NLP course and emphasized that early projects need not be perfect—consistent hard work and continuous improvement matter the most.

Mr. Kshitij began his interactive session by asking the audience how many AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok daily. He emphasized that AI should be used not just as a tool but as a medium to learn and engage with curiosity — calling it the real superpower of this generation.

MRU Alumna, Ms. Poonam Biswas, is currently working as an AI Engineer at Xebia. During her academic journey, she gained hands-on experience through projects such as a chatbot and a Named Entity Recognition (NER) system, which secured first place at the Haryana Innovation Expo. These experiences helped her understand the importance of meticulous planning, rigorous testing, and proper documentation.
My name is Chittin Arora, and I pursued a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in association with Xebia from 2020 to 2024 at Manav Rachna University. My journey at the university was enriching and fulfilling, helping me grow both academically and personally. I actively participated in extracurricular activities such as workshops, seminars, debates, and quizzes, and also pursued a Spanish language certification, which enhanced my communication and broadened my perspective. I was involved in initiatives like the Manav Rachna Club for Peace and Sustainability and contributed to the university magazine, which helped me develop creativity and expression. Additionally, I gained experience in organizing events through my involvement with the Incubation and Innovation Cell. During my course, I built a strong foundation in AI, ML, and Data Science, which has been highly beneficial for my higher studies (M.Tech) as well as in the industry. I also worked on various projects that strengthened my research and problem-solving skills, and completed internships with organizations like Comviva and Xebia, gaining valuable industry exposure. The faculty at Manav Rachna University have been highly supportive and approachable, always ready to guide and mentor students. My academic experience helped me secure my first industry role at AionOS in May 2025. I am grateful to the university for providing me with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities that have shaped my academic and professional journey.
I am Aditi Singhal, B.Tech CSE, Specialization in Data Science and Machine Learning (2019 – 2023 batch), a student at MRU, Faridabad. Manav Rachna has always guided, supported, and encouraged me to do my best and achieve my dreams. The courses offered, regular industry expert talks, internship opportunities, and extracurricular activities ensured that I have a degree, skill set, and personality that would help me to excel in my field and life.
Also, I am thankful to all my professors, CDC, and CRC department for investing so much time and effort in my hard and soft skills, which helped me a lot to face my placement exams and interviews with full confidence and knowledge.
My experience with CRC is great. The mentors at CRC helped me enhance my interpersonal skills. I am thankful to the Training & Placement cell for providing a platform to enhance my skills and an opportunity to showcase them.
I have been amazingly fortunate to treasure an engineering program of such quality that is adaptable and flexible. These four years with MRU have added a few more precious feathers to my hat. These precious feathers abetted and enhanced my profile in many different ways. The staff and faculty have vindicated the innovative ideas to approach the real world problems in an ingenious way.
I deliver my heartfelt thanks to the CRC department for its warm wishes. This is a combined effort of the CDC and CRC team , along with our teachers. The placement team of the university is really dedicated and encouraging and has left no stone unturned to ensure that each student should get placed.
It gave me an opportunity to meet different kinds of people and learn a number of things. I have received great support from faculties & placement offices. I am thankful to the Training & Placement cell for providing a platform to enhance my skills and an opportunity to showcase them.
The aim of every engineering student is to get an opportunity to start their career with a reputed organisation and develop their skills. I am very thankful to the faculty of computer science and engineering and the placement cell for their continuous support. They helped me in getting placed in very good organisations that are Accenture, Capgemini, Newgen and Wipro.
I got selected in intellipaat pvt ltd. I am really thankful towards our college and placement cell, for supporting and providing us opportunities to learn interview skills, communication skills and guiding us in placements. The faculty was supportive and informed us with enough notices regarding every placement drive. I am grateful to have such a good CRC department.
My four years at Manav Rachna University have been excellent and a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The years spent here have been full of learning opportunities that were full of fun and frolic and sometimes with academic grind that one has to go through. I really like the placement process of our university. Everyone is working really hard for all students so that they could get easily placed in the best companies. I was really lucky that I got placed .
As per my overall experience, this college gave their best to make you a good person and best engineer. MRU didn't just work on my technical skills, they have worked on my overall skills also. I have learned German so well during my graduation. And not only in studies, MRU tried their best to make you a good sports person also. Through the MRU sports section, I have learned basketball and snooker so well. Thank You MRU for everything. You are the best.
The overall experience was excellent. Everything along the journey helped me ace this opportunity. The continuous support and motivation from the colleagues and the teaching staff was awesome. The thing that I would suggest as a change in the college is the focus the college keeps on extra curriculum because of that the core studies suffers a lot.
It has been a wonderful experience for me in this prestigious university. My mentor and teachers have always been there to guide, support and motivate me to give my best. I was a part of Leo club which gave me the opportunity to involve myself in social service which helped me grow as a person. It helped me enhance my personality and be more compassionate towards others.
