TEDxMRU 2025, themed “The Changemakers,” brought together renowned speakers from entrepreneurship, technology, wellness, defence, and innovation at Manav Rachna University. The event also featured insightful sessions by Saakshar Duggal and Preity Gupta on AI, cybersecurity, and data privacy awareness, encouraging students to adopt responsible digital practices. Sarvesh Shrivastava, Purvi Roy, and Rajesh Kumar Kare motivated participants through discussions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and business growth strategies, while Dr. Vishal Khurana, Suman Pahuja, Dr. Dev Swarup, and Deepak Garg emphasized health, mindfulness, confidence, and creativity. Team Parishyantra from Manav Rachna University secured the First Prize at BVest 12: Greenovate, held on 8th–9th October 2025 during the Annual TechFest of Bharatiya Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering. The team was recognized for its innovative and sustainable solution that demonstrated exceptional technical creativity, problem-solving skills, and environmental consciousness. Competing against participants from various prestigious institutions, Team Parishyantra showcased outstanding teamwork, research aptitude, and practical implementation abilities, earning appreciation from the judges and audience alike. Their achievement reflects the spirit of innovation, technical excellence, and commitment to sustainable development fostered at the university.
At the IIC Regional Meet held in November 2025, Vikas Sharma from Manav Rachna University received the prestigious Best Student Innovation Ambassador Award for his remarkable efforts in strengthening the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. His consistent involvement in institutional innovation activities, awareness programs, and student-led initiatives demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment toward creating an entrepreneurial mindset on campus. The recognition highlights his contribution in motivating fellow students to participate in creative problem-solving, startup-oriented activities, and innovation-driven projects. His achievement brought pride to the university and reflected the institution’s continuous efforts toward building a vibrant ecosystem of innovation, leadership, and academic excellence.


Team Focus 7 from Manav Rachna University secured the 1st Runner-Up position and won a cash prize of ₹10,000 for their exceptional performance and innovative solution during the competition. The team impressed the judges with their creativity, technical execution, and problem-solving approach, showcasing strong teamwork and practical application of ideas. Their achievement reflected the students’ dedication, innovation-driven mindset, and ability to compete successfully at a highly competitive platform. In addition, Team Skin Saathi and Team Urbandons also represented the university with commendable performances and emerged among the Top 5 teams in their respective problem statements. Both teams demonstrated innovative thinking, research-oriented approaches, and effective presentation skills while addressing real-world challenges. Their participation and accomplishments highlighted the growing culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaborative learning being fostered at the university.
Somya, Rimjhim Verma, and Harsh Bhatia from Manav Rachna University achieved the 2nd Runner-Up position at the Technical Community Universe (TCU) Hackathon organized by Galgotias University on 10th December 2025. Competing against talented teams from various institutions, the students showcased exceptional innovation, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities through their project presentation and execution. Their solution stood out for its creativity, practical relevance, and effective implementation, earning appreciation from the judges and participants alike. The achievement reflects the students’ dedication, collaborative spirit, and ability to perform under competitive conditions while representing the university with excellence. Their success further highlights the institution’s commitment toward encouraging innovation, technical learning, and participation in national-level hackathons and competitions.

The MRU team comprising Tanazza and Yash Pandey from Manav Rachna University secured the First Position in the online hackathon HackX, organized by Chandigarh University on 27th January 2026. The team demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical proficiency, and innovative problem-solving skills while competing against participants from various institutions across the country. Their outstanding performance earned them a cash prize of ₹3,000 along with appreciation from the organizing committee and judges. The achievement highlights the students’ dedication, teamwork, and ability to develop impactful solutions within a competitive environment. Their success reflects the strong culture of innovation, technical learning, and entrepreneurial thinking promoted at the university, encouraging students to actively participate in national-level hackathons and innovation challenges.
IIC, MRU achieved significant recognition and success during HACKMoR 2026, showcasing the institution’s strong culture of innovation, technical excellence, and entrepreneurial thinking. Out of the six teams from Manav Rachna University that participated in HACKMoR 2026, four teams secured top positions, bringing significant recognition to the institution. The university achieved one Gold Award along with a cash prize of ₹5,000, while three other teams earned Silver Awards accompanied by cash prizes of ₹2,000 each. The remarkable performance of the students reflected their innovative mindset, technical expertise, teamwork, and ability to develop impactful solutions for real-world challenges. HACKMoR 2026 also served as the Delhi-NCR Regional Round for the prestigious Tech-BIP Competition organized by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), providing participants with an opportunity to compete for the Grand Finale at the national level. The achievements of MRU teams highlighted the university’s growing ecosystem of innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning, while reinforcing the efforts of IIC-MRU in nurturing future innovators and startup-driven talent.


Out of 6 MRU teams that participated, 4 teams secured top positions — 1 Gold Award (with Rs 5000/- Cash Prize) and 3 Silver Awards (with Rs 2000/- Cash Prize each). HACKMoR 2026 served as the Regional Round Delhi-NCR region, for the Grand Finale of Tech-BIP Competition at EDII.
