The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Manav Rachna University provides a visionary undergraduate program to address the changing demands of the semiconductor industry:

It offers a robust curriculum combining core electronics engineering with advanced communication technologies. This electronics and communication engineering course ensures students develop expertise in VLSI design, embedded systems, and digital signal processing, aligning with industry needs in semiconductor and smart device sectors.

Specializing in VLSI design, students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and methodologies for ASIC/FPGA development, verification, and system-on-chip design. The program bridges electrical and communication engineering fundamentals with practical applications in real-time embedded systems, preparing graduates for high-impact roles in electronics engineering and electronic communication engineering industries.

Specialisation: VLSI Design and Verification (in partnership with Truechip)

The four-year undergraduate program is available with specialisation in VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration) Design and Verification in partnership with Truechip, a market leader in the semiconductor segment. The specialisation offers industry-oriented training in digital circuit design, HDL programming (Verilog and VHDL), and ASIC/FPGA verification.The students would be trained by working hands-on on industry-standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and guided through live projects under the guidance of Truechip experts. The program consists of a co-designed, co-delivered, and co-certified model of Truechip to equip the students completely with industry-standard and latest skills as required by the top semiconductor companies.

This specialization equips students for highly competitive business careers in chip design, semiconductor R&D, and embedded systems and is perfect for those who wish to establish a career in the rapidly expanding industry of VLSI and electronics.
