Dr. Vinayak V Pathak

Brief Profile

Dr. Vinayak Vandan Pathak is an accomplished environmental scientist and academician with over six years of experience in teaching, research, and industrial environmental consultancy. He currently serves as Assistant Professor at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. He earned his Ph.D. from Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya with doctoral research on phycoremediation and biodiesel production using microalgae for industrial wastewater treatment, reflecting his strong expertise in sustainable remediation and bioenergy technologies. Dr. Pathak has published extensively in high-impact international journals such as Bioresource Technology, Journal of Environmental Management, Renewable Energy, and Biomass and Bioenergy, contributing significantly to microalgae-based wastewater treatment, hydrogen and biogas production, and waste-to-energy systems. He has also served as Manager (Environment) in an environmental consultancy firm, leading Environmental Impact Assessment projects for industrial sectors. His most prominent achievement is receiving the Karmasu Kaushalam Award (2022) for excellence in teaching and research. Dr. Pathak actively mentors researchers and promotes sustainable environmental solutions.
