Dr. Sandeep Kumar

Brief Profile

Dr. Sandeep Kumar is a Professor of Physics at Manav Rachna University (MRU) with over 19 years of total teaching & research experience. He holds M.Tech. in Applied Optics and a Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from IIT, New Delhi. After completing his Ph.D., he joined the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea, as a postdoctoral fellow (2006–2009) under the prestigious Brain Korea Brain Korea (BK21) fellowship. His research area includes Photonics, Laser-Plasma Physics, Laboratory Astrophysics and Material Science.
