Dr. Moditma

Brief Profile

Dr. Moditma is a dedicated and passionate educator with a strong academic background and significant research experience in the field of nanomaterials and magnetism, with applications in diverse fields such as antimicrobial resistance and microwave absorption. She joined Manav Rachna University as an Assistant Professor of Physics in September 2022. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Physics from the Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi, and has cleared exams like NET, JEST, GATE, Mathematical Olympiads at zonal level. Currently Dr. Moditma is listed as a lifetime member of the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) and is routinely involved in the peer review process of prominent high impact journals. She also gained experience in the field of Laser Induced Fluorescence spectroscopy while briefly working at LASTEC (DRDO, Delhi) as a Junior Research Fellow for 1.5 years before joining the PhD program. A graduate and post graduate from Miranda House, University of Delhi, Dr. Moditma has a great track record of success, being a gold medalist at college, and consistently securing a rank among top five students in the University. Currently Dr. Moditma has one research scholar working towards her Ph.D. thesis in joint-supervision, on solid state electrolytes for rechargeable thin film batteries.
