Brief Profile

Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Ph. D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. Presently working as a Professor, Department of Sciences (Physics) at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. Dr. Sharma joined the Manav Rachna University in 2006 and served in various capacities like HOD, Controller of Examination etc. He has intellectual acumen with 18 years of teaching and Research experience. Dr. Sharma served as a Visiting Scientist at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. He has contributed as a researcher in the field of Atmospheric/ Space Sciences and published more than 100 research papers in the National/ International journals/conferences and 11 patents. Dr. Sharma has visited several countries like USA, Germany, South Korea many more for scientific interaction and awarded by several fellowships from ISRO & CSIR (Govt. of India). He is an active member of various academic and technical committees. Recently, Dr. Sharma is nominated as a COSPAR Associate by the Committee on Space Research (COSPAR), Paris (France).
