Dr. Anil Dawra

Brief Profile

Prof. (Dr.) Anil Dawra holds a B.Sc. from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and LL.B. and LL.M. from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, along with a Ph.D. (Law) from OPJS University, Rajasthan. He has also completed an Executive MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and London Business School, and pursued advanced legal learning through specialised courses from leading institutions including Harvard, Yale, University of Pennsylvania, Case Western Reserve University (USA), American University (USA), and Lund University (Sweden), including European Business Law and AI & Law (2024). He is specialized in teaching Criminal Procedure and procedural laws (BNSS/CrPC), Criminal Law (BNS/IPC), Evidence Law (BSA/Indian Evidence Act), AI & Law, International Trade Law, and, as required, Civil Procedure Code, Administrative Law and Intellectual Property Law. His publications include the textbook Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) (Thomson Reuters, 2025), with AI & Law: A Textbook for Law Students under publication with Thomson Reuters and further works in progress on International Trade Law and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
