The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has established Centres of Excellence (CoE) to promote advanced learning, research, and innovation in emerging technological domains. These centres strengthen industry–academia collaboration and provide students with opportunities for hands-on learning and interdisciplinary research. They serve as specialized platforms to enhance technical expertise and practical exposure in core and emerging areas of ECE.
The Project Lab provides a dedicated environment where students design and develop innovative academic and research projects. It supports hands-on learning, prototyping, and experimentation to strengthen practical engineering and problem-solving skills.

This lab offers practical exposure to modern industrial automation technologies such as PLCs, sensors, and control systems. Students gain insights into smart manufacturing, robotics, and automation used in Industry 4.0 environments.
This centre promotes innovation in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) through advanced hardware and software platforms. Students work with Intel tools and technologies to develop intelligent systems and smart applications.

This centre focuses on skill development and research in solar photovoltaic technologies and renewable energy systems. It provides practical training in solar panel installation, testing, and energy management.
The hub enables students to design and develop embedded and IoT-based applications using platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. It encourages innovation through hands-on projects, experimentation, and prototype development.

The AICTE IDEA Lab provides a multidisciplinary space for design, innovation, and product development. It encourages students to transform creative ideas into working prototypes using advanced tools and fabrication facilities.
