Overview

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in 1997 under the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS, NAAC Accredited ‘A++’ Grade Institution), a Deemed-to-be-University under Section 3 of the UGC Act (1956).
The aim of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is to dream up the students as competent engineers who can pursue careers in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, electronics manufacturing, information technology, research and development etc thereby contributing to advancements in technology that impact various aspects of modern life.
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering offers B.Tech courses in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialisation in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems/Communication Systems, Electronics & Communication Engineering with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (IOT)) (in association with Intel® Corporation) and M.Tech courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialisation in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems/Communication Systems. The Doctoral program of the Department offers Ph.D degrees in various fields of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

The Department has a highly qualified and experienced faculty team with Doctoral and M.Tech degrees in various areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Faculty members actively engage in quality research and academic activities. Their continuous efforts have led to numerous publications in reputed National and International Journals.
The Department has a wide range of laboratories in the domain of Embedded Systems, Analog Electronics, IOT and VLSI Technologies.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has “ Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Centre (MRIIC)” an initiative designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and the development of new technology-based ventures within the field of electronics and communication engineering.

To impart latest knowledge and skills so as to kindle innovation & creativity among students, to develop and sustain a culture of research while promoting values, ethics and professionalism, leading to a progressive career in industry & academia globally.
