Technical Clubs & Professional Societies

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering encourages students to actively participate in technical and professional activities through its vibrant clubs and professional society chapters. The department currently hosts one technical club – Electrobits and two IEEE Professional Society Student Chapters.

These platforms provide students with opportunities to enhance their technical knowledge, research exposure, leadership abilities, and collaborative skills. Through workshops, expert talks, seminars, competitions, and training programs, the clubs aim to foster innovation and prepare students to excel in the highly competitive field of Engineering and Technology.

Electrobits Technical Club Event

Electrobits – Technical Club

Electrobits is the official technical club of the ECE Department that focuses on interdisciplinary learning and hands-on technical engagement. The club regularly organizes workshops, training sessions, and competitions to strengthen students’ technical competencies and encourage innovative thinking.

The club also motivates students to participate in inter-college technical competitions and events, where they have consistently demonstrated excellent performance.

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) – Student Chapter

The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Student Branch Chapter provides a platform for students to explore advanced topics related to antennas, wireless communication, microwave engineering, and emerging technologies. The chapter regularly organizes expert lectures and knowledge-sharing sessions by eminent researchers and industry professionals.

The IEEE Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) Student Chapter focuses on advancing knowledge in electronics packaging, semiconductor technologies, and electronic system design. The chapter aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry through seminars, technical discussions, and conferences.
