LLM is a 1-year post-graduate degree in Law. This Program offers an intensive and focussed study of law for those who already hold a degree in law. It provides an opportunity for advanced legal education and specialisation in particular field of law. The curriculum includes a combination of core subjects, electives, and research work. Also, Students engage in in-depth analysis, research, and writing, and gain expertise in their chosen area with part-time LLM courses.
The introduction of AI and Law as a specialization is a forward-looking initiative aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills required to navigate the rapidly evolving interface between technology and legal systems. As artificial intelligence continues to transform industries, governance, and dispute resolution, there is a growing need for legal professionals who understand both the capabilities and implications of such technologies. This specialization seeks to bridge that gap by preparing students to address emerging legal challenges and opportunities in the digital age.
The specialization will cover key areas such as the legal and regulatory framework governing artificial intelligence, data protection and privacy laws, algorithmic accountability and ethics, intellectual property issues in AI-generated content, and the role of AI in dispute resolution and legal practice. It will also explore contemporary issues like liability in autonomous systems, cyber law, and global policy developments, enabling students to develop a nuanced and practical understanding of AI-driven legal landscapes”

Pass in LLB or 5 Year Integrated Law course with 50% or more marks in aggregate. Preference shall be given to the law graduates with experience of 3 years or more.
