Dr. Raj Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at MRIIRS. He holds a Ph.D. in Nanoscale Devices and VLSI Design from UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and has over 3 years of post-doctoral experience in teaching and research. His expertise includes advanced device modeling, digital IC design, RTL to GDS-II flow, physical design, verification, and signal integrity analysis.
He also served as a Senior Project Associate at UIET, Panjab University, where he worked on low dropout voltage regulator design for ECG SoC under the Chips to Startup Programme, Government of India’s initiative.
Dr. Kumar has contributed to several research projects, published more 30 papers in SCIE/Scopus indexed journals and international conferences. Dr. Kumar is proficient in Verilog, VHDL, and scripting using TCL, and has hands-on experience with tools like VisualTCAD, Cadence and Synopsys ASIC design Suit.
A dedicated educator and researcher, he continues to work at the intersection of academia and industry, focusing on semiconductor technologies and VLSI innovations.
