Dr. Manish Mishra is a recent doctoral graduate from the School of Electrical Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, having completed his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. P. K. Sahu.

Dr. Mishra's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), Noida, followed by a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala.

His doctoral research focused on the Design and Analysis of Optical Fibre Sensors for Healthcare Applications. Dr. Mishra is a specialist in advanced optical sensing systems, particularly utilizing Fibre Bragg Gratings (FBGs). His research aims to develop innovative biomedical monitoring tools, with specific applications in analyzing human vital signs, including respiratory patterns, sleep posture, and plantar strain for medical diagnosis and rehabilitation.
