Dr. Geeta Nijhawan

Brief Profile

Dr. Geeta Nijhawan is working as a Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad. She has more than 26 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She obtained her Ph.D. from Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies in 2015. She completed her B.E. in Electronics Engineering in 1995 from National Institute of Technology Raipur (formerly Government Engineering College, Raipur).

She has authored three books in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and has published around 50 research papers and book chapters in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. Her research interests focus on Digital Signal Processing, Speaker Recognition & Speech Processing, Wireless Networks, and Computer Vision & Deep Learning.

She has been actively involved in teaching, research, curriculum development, and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has also guided several student research projects and dissertations in the areas of signal processing and intelligent systems.

She regularly participates in national and international conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs to keep pace with emerging technologies in engineering education and research.

She is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and a Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), contributing actively to the professional engineering community.
