Research Communication Conclave - ResComm

Faculty members and students of the Manav Rachna School Of Behavioral & Social Sciences, recently participated in the Research Communication Conclave: ResComm 2025, a three-day academic event organised by the Research and Development Office and HDFC Library of Ashoka University, with SBSS as the Conclave Partner.

The conclave featured engaging discussions, hands-on workshops, and interactive sessions centred on an important contemporary concern—how academic research can be made more accessible, meaningful, and impactful for wider audiences beyond academia. Deliberations focused on bridging the gap between research, policy, and society by strengthening communication strategies and narrative-building practices.

As part of the academic programme, Dr Nikhil Sehra, Assistant Professor of International Relations at SBSS, delivered a thought-provoking talk titled "Identity and Making Sense of Narratives Beyond Data”, highlighting the importance of interpretation, context, and lived experiences in understanding social realities beyond quantitative evidence.

The participation of SBSS faculty and students in this collaborative academic platform reflects the School’s commitment to interdisciplinary engagement, public scholarship, and research dissemination.
