Dr. Sumit Bhateja

Brief Profile

Dr. Sumit Bhateja completed his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) with a specialization in Oral Medicine, Diagnosis, and Radiology from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University. In addition he also holds a PG Diploma in Forensic Odontology, Ph.D. in Alternative Medicines, M.A(Clin.Psy.), PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology, PG Diploma in Mental Health and a certification in Pharmacovigilance. Currently pursuing M.Sc. (Counselling & Therapy) from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.

Dr. Bhateja has 15 years of teaching experience during which he has authored over 175 research & scientific papers in journals of National and International repute, and published 4 textbooks. Has also published some patents & copyrights.

In 2023, he received the BEST YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD at the National Editor’s Summit organized by Innovative Education & Research & Foundation. He received a Medal & two certificates of Appreciation for Academic Excellence from MRIIRS in AY 2020-21. He received two grants for ICMR-funded STS projects in 2012 and 2020.In 2022; he received another grant of INR 2.5Lakhs from New Gen IEDC, Department of Science & Technology, for his Startup – Oracan.
